[jira] [Created] (OAK-1499) SolrIndexEditor should cache indexing requests if Solr is not reachable

Tommaso Teofili created OAK-1499:
------------------------------------

Summary: SolrIndexEditor should cache indexing requests if Solr is not reachable
                 Key: OAK-1499
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-1499
             Project: Jackrabbit Oak
          Issue Type: Sub-task
          Components: oak-solr
    Affects Versions: 0.17.1
            Reporter: Tommaso Teofili
            Assignee: Tommaso Teofili
             Fix For: 0.18

If a Solr instance / cluster goes down while it's being used by Oak for indexing, it'd be good to be able to configure a certain amount of time / requests to be cached and eventually sent back when the server comes up again in the SolrIndexEditor.
