JSPWiki 2.8.0 release

Hi ho folks!

I am happy to be able to announce the first release of an Apache-
licensed version of JSPWiki (though it is not yet an official Apache
release; not even a podling release. That work starts now.)

It is available from the usual location at http://www.jspwiki.org/
wiki/JSPWikiDownload

The cool new stuff is described here:

http://www.jspwiki.org/wiki/NewIn2.8

Are you sure you don't have an older version in the classpath somewhere?

Security changes should actually make it easier to use, and you
should still be able to install WikiWizard (from 2.6), or the FCK
editor. However, at the moment they don't come in the box, so to say.

We might want to consider adding the FCK editor in the 3.0 though.
Or perhaps a custom wikitext editor?

:-)
Thanks Janne - great work!

You know, I was looking at that today - I was thinking - "shall I try the
beta? It looks good!"

I have a meeting tomorrow morning where I was hoping to reveal the JSPwiki
to the team I work with... I want to show them that it's low maintenance and
helps them to be very productive.... I see two things which make it a rocky
ride now - the changes to security and the wysiwyg editors...

I'll check jspwiki.org for a roadmap....

Regards and best wishes,

Quinn
