[jira] [Commented] (TS-3763) whole request and response headers are not available

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TS-3763?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14626971#comment-14626971 ]

Leif Hedstrom commented on TS-3763:
-----------------------------------

[~bcall] just added an internal method, that allows for merging of all values into one line. I think we should expose that as an API, although it might not be exactly what you are asking for. But, a new log tag could either repurpose that functionality, such that we could log these as one line.

[~bcall] wdyt?

> Currently it's possible to fetch a field within the header (request or response). However it's not possible to access the whole header, as a big string.
> I'm interested in the whole header, because I want not only the well known fields, but all of them (in particular I'd like to know if clients send unknown fields).
> For reference, Squid has these options as ">h" and "<h" log config options.
