Tapestry should explicitly check for enums in managed packages and show an appropriate message
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: TAPESTRY-2788
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TAPESTRY-2788
             Project: Tapestry
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: tapestry-core
         Environment: Any
            Reporter: Travis
            Priority: Minor

Currently if an enum exists in a managed package tapestry displays a confusing error message.

It states that the enum is not in a controlled package when it actually is in a controlled package,
and it recommends that you move the enum to the base package, which is also a controlled package.
