Submitting a mapreduce job to remote jobtracker
Hi,
Request you to help for
1) submitting the mapreduce job to remote job tacker. getting
unknownhostexception
2) which configuration files are used for submitting mapreduce job.

Hi,
You should have proper core-site.xml, hdfs-site.xml and mapred-site.xml on your classpath. These files should be available on "/etc/hadoop/conf", so that "hadoop jar" command would be able to load it.

Hi,
You should have proper core-site.xml, hdfs-site.xml and mapred-site.xml on your classpath. These files should be available on "/etc/hadoop/conf", so that "hadoop jar" command would be able to load it.
