[~till.rohrmann] As I see it all subtasks under FLINK-10392 have been resolved and legacy jobmanager, taskmanager, resourcemanager, scheduler and slot implementation have been removed.

Could you please make a general check whether we could close this umbrella issue and announce that it has been done?
