[jira] [Created] (NIFI-14917) Bump Avro to 1.12.0

Pierre Villard created NIFI-14917:
-------------------------------------

             Summary: Bump Avro to 1.12.0
                 Key: NIFI-14917
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-14917
             Project: Apache NiFi
          Issue Type: Task
            Reporter: Pierre Villard
            Assignee: Pierre Villard

Given the breaking changes between Avro 1.11.4 and 1.12.0, it is preferred to have a dedicated JIRA and PR to handle this upgrade to give more time for evaluating side effects in transitive dependencies.

This was initially tracked in NIFI-14909.
