[jira] [Created] (NIFI-5954) add ability to configure timer and event threads via configuration properties

Charlie Meyer created NIFI-5954:
-----------------------------------

Summary: add ability to configure timer and event threads via configuration properties
                 Key: NIFI-5954
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-5954
             Project: Apache NiFi
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Core Framework
    Affects Versions: 1.8.0
            Reporter: Charlie Meyer

It would be helpful to be able to set the  "Maximum Timer Driven Thread Count" as well as event threads via configuration properties.

Use cases would be things like having AMIs, docker images, etc have something other than 10 baked in when the user knows that will be necessary. The workaround now is to use the rest api, but it would be helpful to avoid that step when provisioning nifi instances
