Shortcut for using osgi configurations in sightly

Hi,

What do we have in sling framework so far to reuse osgi configuration in sightly script? 
I’ve seen a lot of services, used by beans / models, finally used by the script, but I find it a bit cumbersome (rather other both java pieces do nothing but passing along the information).
