Getting log4j output from ANT tasks to the output

i'm using ANT task which uses log4j. 
the problem is that logging output does not get into the output. 
instead i get this: 
log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger
(com.i18n.Excel2Properties). 
log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly. 

what should i do?
