Automated installation and configuration.

Hello guys,

Is there a way to automate all steps of Ambari installation and cluster
configuration? Something like RHEL/Fedora kickstart files.

Best regards, Paulo.

Hi Paulo,

Currently, there isn't a "kickstart" like cluster provisioning method.
This is on the roadmap (
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/AMBARI/Roadmap) as "cluster
blueprint for automated installs".
The idea is to specify the cluster configuration in a file (say JSON or
XML) and have Ambari deploy a cluster based on that spec.
