Correction: Pavel was not an initial committer. (I borrowed the wrong message to use as boilerplate.) Pavel was invited by [VOTE] of the PPMC and his establishment as a committer has been completed.

Dave,
The information for Pavel is correct. Apache User Name/IDs are the typical ASCII-only alphanumeric, all lower-case login IDs.
You can double-check that with < http://people.apache.org/committer-index.html#P>.

Thanks for keeping up with this administratium.
I saw some of emails about these issues as this went. The trouble had to do with handling of UTF-8 and the "í" in Janík.

Does Pavel's Apache id have an "í" or "i"? You have an "i" here?
