> The user guide section "Configuring and Running a Cluster" (http://geode.apache.org/docs/guide/12/configuring/chapter_overview.html) presents the cluster configuration service as the preferred method for configuring a distributed system, which is good, but it sounds as if it cooperates with XML configuration. In practical usage, the two are mutually exclusive.
> The section should be rewritten to clarify the mutual exclusivity of the two configuration schemes, and examples should present gfsh command-line options (which the cluster config service understands) as the first choice rather than cache.xml or *.properties entries for setting individual parameters.
> Other sections of the guide will be affected, as well.
