[jira] [Commented] (PROTON-147) Don't send a Sender Disposition
until the all the transfers for a delivery have been sent.
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PROTON-147?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13575874#comment-13575874 ]
Rob Godfrey commented on PROTON-147:
------------------------------------
IIRC after discussion I think we concluded that it was perfectly acceptable to send a disposition for a message which had not yet been completely sent. It is an interesting test case for the receiving party to ensure that they handle such a sequence correctly
The only issue would be if a settlement state is sent in a disposition prior to all frames being transferred, when the application did not order the updates in this order.
Can you clarify if there is a bug here?
