   Probably. Did you notice what the detected location was?  I've seen it just coming up with `/usr`.
   
   Aside - the Snap package, or the .deb without JDK [here](https://www.codelerity.com/netbeans/) might be useful - doesn't try to set `jdkhome` in conf.
