[GitHub] [trafficserver] brunoblits opened a new issue #8558: Escalate plugin out of cache control

brunoblits opened a new issue #8558:
URL: https://github.com/apache/trafficserver/issues/8558

   Hi Team,

I'm using the Escalate plugin to handle errors, however when redirecting to a new origin the correct return is not cached.

Are there any reasons for this behavior? Is it possible to enable the cache if the new origin responds correctly?
   I'm using escalate 9.1
Have been stuck with this for a while. Has anyone else ever faced this issue?

   Thank you!

I found the solution to work I need both settings in records.config:

   CONFIG proxy.config.http.number_of_redirections INT 3
   CONFIG proxy.config.http.redirection_enabled INT 1
