error msg xerces.dom.DeferredDocumentImpl

Hallo,

I´me starting to work with soap and I get the following errorMessage:
java.lang.ClassCastException:
org.apache.xerces.dom.DeferredDocumentImpl.

I´me using TOMCAT3.3, xerces1.3.1, soap2.1.

Does anybody knows if it is a imcompatibility between some libs?

Should I use Soap2.2?
