Slide vs. Jackrabbit
Hi!
We are developing an enterprise application with a simple form of a document management system (DMS) with checkin/checkout and simple versioning.
I've a problem deciding the underlying architecture of the DMS.
I've already tried Jakarta Slide for a few simple tasks.
But JCR (Java Content Repository, JSR-170) should become a standard for content management applications.
ASF is also implementing the standard in the Jackrabbit project.
Jakarta Slide plans to implement the standard too.
On the Slide homepage I didn't find much activity since 2004.
Which one should I use?
Thanks,
Günther Humer
