[jira] [Created] (ACCUMULO-321) Constraints need better configuration

Constraints need better configuration
-------------------------------------

                 Key: ACCUMULO-321
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ACCUMULO-321
             Project: Accumulo
          Issue Type: Improvement
            Reporter: John Vines
             Fix For: 1.5.0

Currently constraints are set via manual configuration where their index is set. Not only is this type of interface cumbersome, it makes it extremely easy for a user to overwrite a constraint they do not mean to. Not to mention the complexity of having various levels of constraints in both the table and system level. We should provide direct api calls for adding, removing, and listing constraints, as well as shell commands to use said calls.
