New mailing list for OpenOffice documentation developers
Quick reminder, in case you missed this news over the holidays. We
have a new mailing list dedicated to documentation developers
(authors, editors, information engineers, whatever you want to call
yourself) for OpenOffice.
Volunteers can subscribe to the list by sending an email to :
doc-subscribe@openoffice.apache.org and then responding to the
confirmation email you will receive.
More information on the list is here: (archives URL, how to
unsubscribe, etc.):
http://openoffice.apache.org/mailing-lists.html#documentation-mailing-list-public
Topics covered will presumably include traditional book-like
documentation, but also FAQ's, wiki-based documentation, etc. Some
have even expressed an interest in DITA. If any of these topics
interest you, we welcome you to join the mailing list.
With a major new release coming in Apache OpenOffice 4.0, it is a good
time for us to get started!
Regards,
-Rob
