Call for Participation for ApacheCon US 2003
I will try to submit a CFP for a Lenya session.
(although Lenya is a project being incubated, I guess people
won't mind. Otherwise please let me know)
Thanks
Michael

You might check with David Crossley & Jeff Turner who are both Cocoonies
& Aussies.
Cheers,

While your on the subject.
I'd like to do some sort of Apache/Cocoon/Lenya thing at
http://www.ozewai.org/2003/
Which I attend regularly.
It's just finding the time to spend on Cocoon and propose something. I'll
try. If there is an Apache/Cocoon/Lenya person from Melbourne who could do
this, with a focus on accessibility and W3C standards, it would be great if
they could do it instead of me.
Just as another point of interest, cause I have seen this type of thing
mentioned here, regarding promoting Apache/Cocoon/Lenya, especially in the
government and education sectors, I was amazed when one of the major
universities stated at OZEWAI 2002 that they are not allowed to even
consider a CMS unless it has been evaluated and rated by Gartner.
I also worked as a web developer in EDU for 4 years, and dealing with
management (I'm talking IT) on this matters was mind numbing.
Also of interest is this article
