tests.api.java.lang.StringTest passes all tests if run with the other luni tests, but has failures if run independently with junit or with:
ant -f modules/luni/make/build.xml -Dtest.case=tests.api.java.lang.StringTest test
The failures are:
1) test_concatLjava_lang_String(tests.api.java.lang.StringTest)junit.framework.AssertionFailedError: should not be identical
at tests.api.java.lang.StringTest.test_concatLjava_lang_String(StringTest.java:274)
at java.lang.reflect.AccessibleObject.invokeV(AccessibleObject.java:205)
2) test_getBytes(tests.api.java.lang.StringTest)junit.framework.AssertionFailedError: Wrong byte conversion 8859_1: 256
at tests.api.java.lang.StringTest.test_getBytes(StringTest.java:345)
at java.lang.reflect.AccessibleObject.invokeV(AccessibleObject.java:205)

Oops. Please close this JIRA. This StringTest is excluded - the "passes all tests" I was seeing was the other StringTest.
As penance, I ran all the (non-excluded!) tests with junit forkmode=perTest and they all pass so there really are no issues like this in this test or any other.
