I upgraded our test environemen(4.0.2) to 4.1

and we have the following issue with libvirtd

 virDomainTimerDefParseXML:4630 : internal error unknown timer name
'kvmclock'

After an upgrade of libvirt to 
version 1.0.2 from following ppa ppa:pfak/backports

https://launchpad.net/~pfak/+archive/backports

The problem was solved.
