JMeter running on localhost, not recording via a proxy server

I've looked thru the nabble forum for an answer to this issue. Possibly some
new code back in Nov '09...

I can not script a localhost thru a JMeter proxy server. I can successfully
script another domain like apache.jmeter but not 127.0.0.1. I'm using
JMeter 2.3.4 r785646.

Any help is appreciated.

hi
no , the other way, you want a proxy(the jmeter one) for localhost , so you
would need to clear the text box saying "No proxy for" (assuming firefox is
your browser)

check your proxy settings in your browser
You might have something that says No proxy for localhost,127.0.0.1 or
Bypass Proxy for localhost,127.0.0.1
