   I think this is OK to close as a "won't fix" since I wouldn't expect the range control to work when there is only one value in the column (in this example, 1). The range would be... 1 to 1, which doesn't make much sense for it to work. 
   
   We could take on a small design task to figure out if there's a better way to explain some context here, e.g. "Range filter cannot be used when there is a single numerical value in the column" but I'm not sure if it's worth the effort or not. @kasiazjc may have feelings here.
   
   I tried this with columns that have null values and a range of numbers, and all seems to work just fine.
