   [toolbox brush](https://echarts.apache.org/en/option.html#toolbox.feature.brush) provides this functionality and more, see [live example](https://echarts.apache.org/en/option.html#brush).
   If you don't want to use toolbox, then try building a custom drag with events [mousedown](https://echarts.apache.org/en/api.html#events.Mouse%20events.mousedown) and _mouseup_.
