What is the purpose of Groups

Hi All!

When creating an instance I have the option to enter an optional group name to the instance. I was wondering what the purpose of this option is for. I could not find an explanation in the documentation.

CS4.0 on Centos 6.3 w/ vCenter 5.0

Thanks!

Hi Jake,

As far as I am aware Groups are simply labels which can be assigned to VMs which can then be used to assist with billing etc
