HBase Metrics reset

Hello!

Is there any way (API or shell command) to reset read/write statistics
for regions in Region Servers?

I have an application with some cyclical workload and sometimes I want
to look at the distribution of workload across regions in one period.

I can do this by dashboards based on current metrics, so this is not a
necessary feature. There was just a thought that this could be done
directly in the HBase UI.
