[jira] [Commented] (SOLR-16523) gosu binary version

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-16523?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17629166#comment-17629166 ]

Houston Putman commented on SOLR-16523:
---------------------------------------

We run {{apt-get update}} then {{apt-get install gosu}}, so shouldn't we be getting the latest gosu version available for the base image we are using?

Not sure how we would upgrade it further outside of manually installing it outside of {{apt}}.

> The version of gosu gets installed is a bit of old, and do you have any plan to install newer version gosu in?
