Something to ponder...

Looking back at the 1.3.19 release, I found this graphic interesting:

http://www.securityspace.com/s_survey/data/man.200104/srvch.html?server=Apache&revision=Apache%2F1.3.19

Note we lost 1 server for 100 that jumped on 1.3.19. Wow.

We lost almost one for on with 1.3.17, the vast majority who left went on to 1.3.19.
Same with 1.3.14, the vast majority jumped up to 1.3.19, with a handful jumping back
on 1.3.12. Noting what we broke, that isn't surprizing.

Compare and contrast to IIS 5.0 which loses 1 server back to IIS 4.0 for every 13 gained.

I'm simply looking at users' stability issues, and am looking forward to reading the next
month's report.
