The version attribute of the XML schema element does not contain the version of the schema specification (ie. 1.0, 1.1) as the documentation of XmlSchema.getVersion suggests. A quote from the XML schema recommendation: "The other attributes ({{id}} and {{version}}) are for user convenience, and this specification defines no semantics for them."
