[jira] [Resolved] (TEZ-276) N input N output Mapper/Reducer

Hitesh Shah resolved TEZ-276.
-----------------------------

    Resolution: Won't Fix

The processor interface already support multiple inputs and outputs. However, MapProcessor and ReduceProcessor which support MR will always only accept a single input and output.

> This ask is for a N input/N output mapper/reducer processor. This is the only thing (I believe) standing in the way of a fully arbitrary dag. Instead of having to create separate dags in Pig to get around this, the sooner this is done the better as we will be closer to a more fully finished product.
> If we can agree on semantics of N output mapper/reducer (how we would expose to the mapper and reducer), then I can prototype on local mode in the meantime.
