Old bug

Hello everyone,
I am wondering if there's any plans to look into this bug 
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/XERCESJ-1102. I am using xalan to 
process some docbook files. This bug is affecting  this process. I don't 
know if there's any interests in fixing it.

Hi,

I had started working on a fix a long time ago but never got back to it.
Might give it another shot one day. More likely to get fixed in the
foreseeable future if someone from the community submits a patch (and some
tests to help verify it).
