A tool to invoke Maven by forking or embedding

Hi,

This is mostly directed at John, but feel free to chime in.

I would like a small tool that can invoke Maven easily by forking or  
embedding. John were you thinking of adding something to the invoker  
for an embedded mode?

I think it would also like to make the current core-it-verifier  
simply do that, verify. Currently is is doing the executing of Maven  
so I want something to do the invoking, however it's done, and then  
verify.

I will take a stab at modifying the invoker after I release it. I  
really want to release it for the ant-run plugin and what I'm really  
interested in is maven-invoker.
