Dynamically list all attachments (Assets)

Hi,
I'm brand new to Lenya. I'm trying to use Lenya as more of a document
management tool for now. I was asked my my client to provide the
capability of uploading documents (mainly word documents) by admins and
display them to the general user and allow the users to sort through the
documents. I was wondering if there is a way to programmatically display
all the assets to user and have sorting capability. Thanks in advance.

Hello Lei,

You can add assets (doc, pdf, pictures) to a page in Lenya. Try to edit
a document with BXE, and click on the "Add Asset" button on the right of
the taks bar.

What do you mean by sorting capabilities? In Lenya, Editors can edit the
link to an asset with the BXE.

You can have a look at one of the demos, eg
http://lenya-1.2.demo.wyona.org/default/ , but the asset upload function
is unfortunately disabled on this public demo (security reason).

HTH,
Renaud
