[jira] [Created] (MYFACES-3783) Use tree visiting to pss algorithm
in 2.2.x
Leonardo Uribe created MYFACES-3783:
---------------------------------------
Summary: Use tree visiting to pss algorithm in 2.2.x
Key: MYFACES-3783
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MYFACES-3783
Project: MyFaces Core
Issue Type: Task
Components: JSR-344
Reporter: Leonardo Uribe
Assignee: Leonardo Uribe
Per spec it was decided long time ago to use tree visiting when state saving is performed. The fix suppose deprecate org.apache.myfaces.SAVE_STATE_WITH_VISIT_TREE_ON_PSS param and remove the unused code in DefaultFaceletsStateManagementStrategy . I tried to use visitTree when the component is restored, but it doesn't work because the visitTree relies on the tree integrity. ComponentModificationManager stuff was not included in JSF 2.2, so the best here is keep the code as is, using invokeOnComponent to perform addition and removals.
