[jira] [Resolved] (PDFBOX-2250) Improve XRef self healing mechanism

Andreas Lehmkühler resolved PDFBOX-2250.
----------------------------------------
    Resolution: Fixed

I've merged Tilmans changes from the trunk into the 1.8 branch, so that all attached files can be parsed with both the trunk and the 1.8 branch.

As I don't have an idea on how to solve the TODO, I'm going to resolve this issue. Once we have a sample pdf which can't be parsed with the simple algorithm, we can open a new issue.

> PDFBOX-1769 introduced a "self healing" mechanism to repair corrupt XRef offsets. But that one was just a starter and there remain a lot of issues to be solved. I'm planing to solve at least some of them.
> All fixes and improvements are targeting the non-sequential parser and I won't port those changes to the old parser.
