You might want to try a recent version of httpd-2.0.  2.0.44 may work.  There were some recent PRs that were closed today that address this codepath, so current snapshots may also work even better.

In short, this has probably been fixed.  Marking as FIXED.  (Please reopen if it is still broken.)
