   ### Describe the enhancement requested
   
   Once the following is merged:
   - https://github.com/apache/arrow/issues/25118
   
   As discussed [here](https://github.com/apache/arrow/pull/41904#issuecomment-2312545547), we can follow up removing numpy from the required dependencies list so when pyarrow is installed it doesn't pull numpy.
