  This is a list of items that we should consider doing across 
  all the Avalon projects.
  
  * Refactor build files to remove commonalities. Either make it 
    data driven by property files or use XSLT to generate the build 
    files
  * Delete tools/ directory and have each project require ant and the
    other tools to be installed correctly.
  * Move stylesheets and other doco stuff into a central location so 
    that the source distributions can all build the documentation.
  * Remove the non-Avalon jars from the CVS repositories
