NG is version 1.0 and higher, OG is 0.9.X. I believe the only items
left on OG in the git repo is two branches

branch-0.9.5 and branch-old-trunk

This github.com/apache/flume mirrors this
https://git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf?p=flume.git

NG is (new gen) or more recent. Github mirrors
git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf/flume.git which has all OG and NG
branches.
