[jira] Commented: (MDEPLOY-91) Add option to delete old snapshots from repository during deployment.

Wendy Smoak commented on MDEPLOY-91:
------------------------------------

IMO it's a bit out of scope for the deploy plugin to be removing things. But I have wanted the ability to remove a release from a repo before, and the problem with just deleting stuff is that it breaks the metadata. An "undeploy" plugin maybe?

> The deploy plugin should be able to delete old snapshots, maybe older than a certain date, or retain a certain maximum number of builds in the snapshot repository. This would prevent the need for some of the current repository maintenance.
