[jira] [Commented] (DRILL-8190) Mongo query: "Schema change not currently supported for schemas with complex types"
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DRILL-8190?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17567149#comment-17567149 ]
James Turton commented on DRILL-8190:
-------------------------------------
I've restored the sample data and run the given query using today's Drill master to encounter an error, but not the one reported by [~clarkddc].
{code:java}
Error: SYSTEM ERROR: ClassCastException: class org.apache.drill.exec.vector.NullableVarCharVector cannot be cast to class org.apache.drill.exec.vector.NullableIntVector (org.apache.drill.exec.vector.NullableVarCharVector and org.apache.drill.exec.vector.NullableIntVector are in unnamed module of loader 'app'){code}
I've also created a new unit test exercising an ObjectID join based on the existing Donuts test dataset that produces the same problem. I'll update this issue with more information as I make further progress.
