Your slightly modified patch is in trunk at r830366, R9.04 at r830374  

I have just modified to respect our syntax convetions ie :
{code}
+            if (uriString == null) {
+                uriString="";
+            }
{code}
instead of 
{code}
+            if (uriString == null) uriString="";
{code}
