[jira] [Commented] (BEAM-4397) Add details of using org.apache.beam.sdk.io.hdfs with different FS

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BEAM-4397?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16489133#comment-16489133 ]

Luke Cwik commented on BEAM-4397:
---------------------------------

The details of how to use Hadoop filesystems is stored here: [https://github.com/apache/beam/blob/3156b6031ff1f50ad0e5d9d4ed72a6b2eee631c1/sdks/java/io/hadoop-file-system/src/main/java/org/apache/beam/sdk/io/hdfs/HadoopFileSystemOptions.java#L46]

Would be good if it was also a javadoc comment in addition to appearing on the website.

> We need to add more details how to configure "org.apache.beam.sdk.io.hdfs" to use it for different file systems (e.g. HDFS, S3, MapRFS, etc) like we have for HadoopInputFormat ([https://beam.apache.org/documentation/io/built-in/hadoop/])
