htpasswd created password files won't enable access
Summary: htpasswd created password files won't enable access
Product: Apache httpd-2.0
Version: 2.0.39
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: Normal
Priority: Other
Component: support
AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
ReportedBy: mike.soules@td.com
After creating my password file, I try accessing a restricted portion of my web
site and am unable to obtain access. I have removed references to the password
requirement and access without difficulty, so the issue seems to be the password
file. Patches htpasswd-c-and-n-options-conflict and
htpasswd-overwrites-old-file have been applied already.
Mike
