Summary: Missing scripts in Tomcat Windows installer distribution
           Product: Tomcat 5
           Version: 5.5.7
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: Native:Packaging
        AssignedTo: tomcat-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: sherold@netbeans.org

The Windows installer distribution of Tomcat 5.5.x does not contain the
startup scripts catalina.bat, setclasspath.bat, etc. It is quite weird since
when you install the full instalation using the Tomcat Windows installer,
you'll get less than what you would get from the zip distribution.

Our NetBeans Tomcat integration currently relies on existence of those scripts
and I believe that there are others with the same problem. I guess that normal
Tomcat users would also appreciate having those scripts back.
