Hmm, I can't find such a sentence in the 1.3 docs of mod_vhost_alias (but I may
have missed it), can you point me?

Anyway, in 1.3 there's the rule: don't change the module order unless you really
know, what you do. The 2.0 architecture is much better in those things.
