[jira] [Commented] (MESOS-146) EC2 scripts should find the latest AMI from a known URL

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MESOS-146?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13232085#comment-13232085 ]

Matei Zaharia commented on MESOS-146:
-------------------------------------

The latest AMI pointed to by "latest" now supports both Hadoop and a branch of Spark compatible with Mesos trunk. I'm still not going to make it the default though, until the API for 0.9 is finalized and the Spark changes are merged into its master branch.

> This is a small change that would make the scripts easier to use and would let us "patch" the AMI after a release of Mesos comes out.
