[jira] [Resolved] (FELIX-5828) Remove android support.

Karl Pauls resolved FELIX-5828.
-------------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
I removed the support for android that was based on deprecated Dex files. As I said, I think it should be possible to get something working again based on the official PathClassloader but I don't have the time right now.
In other words, if somebody finds this issue because they need android support feel free to open a new issue (preferable with a patch :-).

> I think we should remove support for android. The way we support it isn't working with newer version of android and it wasn't optimal on older versions anyways.
> I believe it should be possible to add support again based on a PathClassLoader from android but I'm not sure I have the time to look into that right now. If not, I'll remove what we have right now and create a follow-up issue to tackle adding support back at a later time.
